Emergency Services

When an emergency arises, BEVS has veterinary coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If an emergency occurs after hours, a veterinarian is on call to assist. Our veterinarians will come prepared to provide immediate treatment, and referral to an equine facility can be arranged if needed.

Examples of equine emergencies include:

• Colic
• Lacerations
• Sudden non-weight bearing lameness
• Eye injuries
• Illness
• Choke
• Problems with foalings, etc.
